Ventanas distópicas. Entretejiendo otros mundos (2021-2022)
Virtual space created in Mozilla Hubs by Minga (Ana Mora and Jenny Ramirez Osorio).
Minga presents Dystopian Windows: Weaving Other Worlds, 2021-2022, an interactive virtual hub that will be updated throughout the exhibition "Al Conjuro de este código. Tecnofeminismos para reescribir el mundo" (Under the Spell of This Code: Technofeminisms for Rewriting the World).
This interactive space offers the opportunity to dialogue, inhabit, and hyperlink, blending everyday experiences and sentipensar (feeling-thinking) with embodied technology. The virtual space, constructed, mutable, and malleable, along with the exchange of unschooled and transversal knowledge, opens an alternative path for community-building. It is a vibrant territory where various feminisms that traverse the peoples of Abya Yala —the Guna name for our continent—, artistic practice, and technologies can coexist (https://centrodeartesonoro.cultura.gob.ar/noticia/ventanas-distopicas-entretejiendo-otros-mundos-2021-2022/)

"Al conjuro de este código. Tecnofeminismos para reescribir el mundo (2021-2022)
Under the Spell of This Code. Technofeminisms to Rewrite the World (2021-2022)
A selection of unpublished works created by artists from Argentina and Latin America, including audiovisual pieces, installations, sound sculptures, and an interactive virtual space. The Centro de Arte Sonoro (CASo) presents "Under the Spell of This Code. Technofeminisms to Rewrite the World," a new temporary exhibition that approaches technology from a feminist, decolonial, and community perspective.
The exhibition will be accompanied by the development of a virtual exhibition environment, a series of special programs on Radio CASo, and more than 25 activities such as concerts, workshops, talks, and residencies led by women and gender dissidents.
The show presents practices that subvert the uses of technological devices to deconstruct, reterritorialize, and turn them into machines of digital earth. It is conceived as a proposition rather than an exhibition, as it does not aim to expose preconceived positions but to encourage collective ways of thinking and acting on a diverse set of issues.
"Under the Spell of This Code. Technofeminisms to Rewrite the World" coexists and dialogues with "The Waves of Desire. Feminisms, Diversities, and Visual Culture 2010-2020+" an exhibition at the Casa Nacional del Bicentenario. Through photographs, installations, paintings, and videos by more than eighty artists and collectives from across the country, it revisits, updates, and propels into the future "Women 1810-2010," the show with which the CNB opened its doors twelve years ago. Additionally, this resonance expands to the exhibition "Sensitive Hearts. Fair, Cumbia, and Passion" at the Museo Nacional del Grabado.
